About me

IEEE-style Biography

After two years of preparatory classes in France and 3 years of engineering school, Matthieu DE MARI obtained his MSc in Centrale Marseille, in 2011. The same year, he also achieved a Research MSc with Aix-Marseille University, on “Applied Optics, Photonics, Signal and Image Theory”.

From 2009 to 2011, he worked on several radio projects and internships with industries (Safran Group and NEC Technologies), as well as laboratories (Large Networks and Systems Group (LANEAS)).

In 2011, he joins Large Networks and Systems Group (LANEAS) and CEA-Leti, and starts working on his PhD, under the supervision of Merouane Debbah and Emilio Calvanese Strinati, on the topic “Radio Resource Management for Green Wireless Networks”. He obtains the PhD degree in June 2015.

Between June 2016 and December 2019, he works as a post-doc with the WDNS group at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. In February 2020, he joins the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) faculty, where he continues his research on Mean Field Games and AI applications for telecommunication networks resource management. He is also in charge of many courses, more specifically the Python 101 course, the Summer School on Programming and the Deep Learning course.
