Conducted an Introduction to Python Programming workshop for overseas students

With the recent successful run of online Python workshops, ISTD faculty conducted another round for prospective students in local international and overseas schools.

Python is one of the most popular programming languages today, with many applications in computing, engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.

Participants spent 2 hours of their weekend under the guidance of my guidance, along with Dr. Norman Lee and Dr. Natalie Agus, learning and understanding the concept of coding, basic python programming and computing concepts such as selection and loops.

At the end of the workshop, participants were given time to learn to code on their own and were able to apply what they had learnt to draw basic shapes like squares, polygons and arcs, and even touched on more complex shapes and patterns.
